Police find marijuana growing in backyard

Liberty Township, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Pennsylvania State Police make an arrest for growing marijuana.

On Saturday night, state police discovered marijuana plants growing in a wooded area behind 70 Mucky Run Road.

Raymond M. Toman, 53, of Hallstead, lived at that home.

More than six pounds of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were found and seized from Toman's home. The paraphernalia included lights used for indoor marijuana growing.

Toman was arrested and sent to the Susquehanna County Jail on $50,000 bail.

-Possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance
-Possession of a controlled substance
-Possession of drug paraphernalia
