Martin: Now the hard work begins.

(WBNG Binghamton) In a 57 percent to 43 percent race, Kirk Martin was elected as Tioga County's next district attorney.

"I'm honored and humbled to have earned the trust of Tioga County's voters in today's election for District Attorney," Martin said in a statement.

He said now the hard work starts.

"I will devote myself to making Tioga County the safest place it can be to live, work, raise a family and retire. i will fulfill my pledges to protect our seniors from elder fraud, fight drugs like meth and bath salts, and stand up for our Constitutional Rights."
