Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Masonic lodge celebrates a major milestone.

Members of the Round Hill Lodge in Endicott celebrated lodge's150 anniversary.

A decade and a half ago, the Masons purchased the front portion of the lodge for $4,000 and have since added on.

The public was invited to attend and observe the special day.

During the ceremony, the lodge was "rededicated" by the Grand Master of Masons for the State of New York.

Members say the re dedication is a way to reconfirm some of the principles they stand for, like giving back, and donating to the community.

'We have a heart research center in Utica which has done a lot of research and benefited people with heart problems, including myself," said David Patch, a member of the lodge.

Members say as a whole, Masons donate over a million dollars to causes annually.
