Murder Case Heads To Grand Jury

(WBNG Binghamton) A Broome County Grand Jury will hear a case involving a Johnson City man accused of killing a town of Dickinson man, early New Year's Day.

Alan Outman, 22 is charged with second degree murder for causing the death of David Fillers, 21.

Outman has waived a preliminary hearing according to the Broome County District Attorney's Office.

DA Gerry Mollen will prosecute the case against Outman.

Binghamton lawyer Mark Loughran of Loughran & Loughran says he will represent the defendant.

The county clerk says the case will be heard before a Grand Jury.

No word on when that hearing is set to occur.
