Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A company looking to expand, hosts its first job fair in Vestal. It's part of Nationwide Credit's ongoing efforts to hire 300 new employees.

It has positions available from entry-level to management.

Company officials say the new jobs are the result of taking on new clients and expanding its customer base.

Job seekers met with a recruiter to take them through the interview process.

"We have multiple work stations set up so they can fill out an online application," said Director of Operations Todd Seifert. "At that point they will be given a set of assessments and potentially be set up for a second interview to move forward."

Many of the interested applicants are local college students.

"We utilize a lot of student positions for multiple clients," Seifert said. "They are able to frequently pick up hours during the times they are not in school and we also offer flexible schedules for the students during the school year."

Seifert says the company will be hiring throughout the year.

Anyone interested can also fill out an online application at the career section of their website.
