Annville, PA (WBNG Binghamton) Seven new pieces of legislation were signed to better the lives of PA veterans.

These bills were signed by Governor Corbett at a special ceremony on Monday morning, nationally observed as Veteran's Day.

The contents of the new legislation will benefit not only former servicemen, but those currently serving in the military as well.

The Veteran's Trust Fund was put into place, designated to provide for veteran's programs, and will be financed through several sources.

A revision was made to the Pennsylvania Code of Military Justice, giving commanders more options during military offenses.

A few of the other approved bills include an Overseas Voting Act, a "V" designation on driver's licenses and special license plates for all World War II veterans- now including the Merchant Marines and U.S. Airborne Units.

Many members of the Pennsylvania National Guard attended the signing.
