Owego, NY (WBNG Binghamton) UHS's new facility in Owego offers new services.
UHS Primary Care Owego started seeing patients Monday at its new facility at 42 W. Main Street. It is located in the plaza near Price Chopper.
"We flooded in the 2011 flood so we have relocated. With the relocation, we have been able to provide new services such as x-rays and the lab services and extended hours," said Kim Burke, Unit Coordinator.
There are additional exam rooms and treatment and observation rooms.
The facility is also offering acupuncture and OMS services to residents in Tioga County.
Providers at the office include David Kwiatkowski, MD, FAAFP; Helen Chung-Hussain, DO; Cara Corpora, DO; nurse practitioner Laura Mitchell; and physician assistant Michael Feeney.
"It's got lots of space. It accommodates all of the providers we have," said Dr. Helen Chung-Hussain. "We offer same-day appointments and we can accommodate morning, afternoon and evening appointments."
The hours are from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Thursday; and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday. Same-day appointments are available.
