Passenger plane crashes in San Francisco

(WBNG Binghamton) Two people are dead and more than 180 were sent to the hospital after a passenger plane crashed while landing at the San Francisco International Airport.

The plane, an Asiana Airlines Boeing 777, was coming from Seoul, South Korea.

Authorities said the plane burst into flames when it crashed just before noon.

Of the more than 180 people sent to the hospital, CBS News reports 49 have serious injuries.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
