Pennsylvania Driver Injured After Car Hits Trees

Hamilton, PA (WBNG Binghamton) A Pennsylvania man is seriously injured after his car slides down an embankment and hits several trees.

Pennsylvania State Police say he was speeding.

Police say Travis Day, 24, of Roaring Branch, was driving a Honda Civic Thursday at approximately 9:40 a.m., north on Route 2017.

He took a left curve at an unsafe speed, swerved into the southbound lane, then flew off the road and down an embankment.

The civic hit and tree, continued on and finally stopped after hitting a cluster of trees.

Day suffered major injuries, police said.

He is charged with driving at an unsafe speed.
