Norwich, NY (WBNG Binghamton) New details emerge in the case of a missing woman in Norwich.
Norwich Police Chief Joseph Angelino confirmed that her husband, Gary Kosowski, is the same man who in 1992 was charged with distributing poison candy at Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Central High School, where he worked as a teacher at the time.
He was sent to prison after pleading guilty to lesser crimes.
Krista M. Kosowsky, 51, has been missing since approximately 11:15 a.m. Friday.
Police said she failed to show up at her work in Clinton.
Her car was found Monday evening parked outside of the Walmart garden center in Norwich.
Angelino said investigators have searched the couple's home at 69 Rexford St., but few other details are known at this time.
Action News reached out to Gary Kosowski for comment about the investigation Tuesday, but have yet to receive any response.
In a release to media Tuesday evening, Angelino said, “Mr. Gary Kosowsky, Krista’s husband, has been very helpful and cooperative in the search for his wife”.
Krista is described as white, with brown hair and brown eyes, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing about 240 pounds.
