Police: Man trespasses, tries to flee

Port Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A man is arrested for trespassing and trying to flee police.

Hesco was spotted inside a yard at 33 Phelps St. Friday night, according to Port Dickinson Police.

When police arrived on scene, Hesco ran to a car that was parked at a different place.

Port Dickinson Police chased Hesco until he abandoned the car at the end of Kirkwood Avenue.

New York State Police, a NYSP K-9, the Broome County's Sheriff's Department and Binghamton Police assisted in the search.

Police arrested Hesco at his home at 49 Park Av. in Binghamton.

A judge arraigned Hesco in the Town of Dickinson Court. The judge remanded Hesco to the Broome County Jail on $10,000 bail.

He is charged with possession of burglary tools, criminal trespass, and numerous vehicle and traffic violations and misdemeanors.
