Police: Teen shot in the foot, man arrested

Binghamton, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) Binghamton Police arrested a man after he allegedly shot a teenage boy in the foot early Saturday morning.

Clyde Harrison, 31, of Binghamton, was arrested for shooting a 15-year old in the foot.

According to police, shots were fired near Abbott and Louisa streets.

Harrison was taken to the Broome County Jail. He does not have a criminal record.

Police said the 15-year-old is recovering with a non-life threatening injury.

Binghamton police declined to release information as to the relationship of Harrison and the 15-year-old, or how Harrison got the gun.

Charges:
-Assault, 2nd degree, felony
-Criminal Possession of a Weapon, Class C, felony
