Police searching for a missing man with mental disorder

Greene, NY (WBNG Binghamton) New York State Police at Norwich are searching for a missing man who suffers from a bipolar disorder.

Steven Moran, 57, of Greene, was reported missing to State Police on Dec. 11.

The family of Steven Moran spent much of the day on Saturday walking around looking for the missing man.

New York State Police said he was last seen leaving a neighbors home by State Route 12 on Monday, December 9.

New York State Police, New York State Forest Rangers, State Police Aviation and Dive Team, as well as volunteers, conducted several searches of the area surrounding Moran's home on Dec. 12 and 13.

They have reason to believe he was later seen north of Smithville Flats on Route 220.

The State Police are continuing the investigation and asks anyone with information to call State Police Norwich Station (607) 334- 3296.

Moran's family is asking for privacy as the search continues.
