Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Crews were on site early Thursday morning at En-Joie Golf Course getting things ready for the Dick's Sporting Goods Open.

Last minute touches such as filling in divots, raking bunkers and setting up tees had workers on site as early as 4 a.m. Thursday, the second day of the Pro Am.

In the dark of morning, crews walked their mowers around the course, with LED lights strapped to their equipment.

"As soon as play starts we take a break," said superintendent of the course, Rocco Greco. "Then we go back out at night on the golf course and do our mowing and maintenance practices."

Crews will return for more preparations Thursday night, once the pros and amateurs are done playing.

Around 6:30 p.m. mowers will again go over each area on the 140 acre course.

The mowers will be prepped by other employees in the maintenance club house Thursday afternoon.

Workers will return again at 4:30 a.m. Friday to prepare for the first round of the Dick's Sporting Goods Open, which starts Friday morning.
