UPDATE: Endicott man arrested for robbery

Johnson City, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Endicott man was taken to jail without bail Tuesday after a robbery that occurred in the parking lot of Walgreens on Main Street in Johnson City.

Johnson City Police arrested Todd Corey, 30, and charged him with robbery, a felony.

Police said an off-duty New York State trooper saw Corey approach a man in the parking lot of Walgreens and steal his shopping bag, which included narcotic prescriptions.

Corey then fled on foot leading several police agencies to set up a perimeter.

They eventually found him near the eastbound side of State Route 17.

Corey was taken to Broome County Jail where he remained late Tuesday without bail.
