Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Police respond to a possible armed robbery at a Binghamton bank, for the second time in three months.

Binghamton Police are on the scene at the Citizens Bank in the city's West Side.

Police have said they are investigating the scene, interviewing witnesses on a robbery that has occurred.

It happened sometime between 11:00 A.M. and noon on Wednesday.

Early reports indicated a man with a gun robbed the bank, then fled to Grand Boulevard.

Police say he was a black male, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds.

They also provided surveillance photos of the incident.

They described the suspect with the following descriptions:

5'7"- 5'8"
Slender Build
Wearing Dark Colored Graduation Gown
Red Bandana Over Face
Dark Knit Hat- Possibly Covering Dreadlocks
Sunglasses
Gloves

Police say he hisplayed a dark-colored handgun, and may have fled in a dark colored SUV.

A similar situation took place at the same bank on August 11, 2011.

That's when a man with a mask robbed the same bank during the afternoon hours.
