Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force arrest a man for multiple drug charges.
21 year old Jamal Gibson was arrested Friday night following a search warrant at his residence.
Gibson lives at 827 Squires Avenue in the Town of Union.
The SIU Task Force removed 9.2 grams of crack cocaine, a digital scale containing cocaine residue, a small amount of marijuana, and a .22 caliber Derringer handgun.
Gibson is being charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony.
He is also being charged with using drug paraphernalia, a class A misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of Marijuana.
The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force is comprised of members of the Broome County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Binghamton Police Department and the Village of Johnson City Police Department.
Additional charges may be pending on this investigation.
