Sherburne, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) For the second time in less than a week, the Sherburne-Earlville Middle School was evacuated because of a bomb threat.

The Chenango County Sheriff's Office was contacted by district officials Tuesday after a threat was found written on a bathroom wall.

The middle school was evacuated, and sheriff's deputies investigated. Nothing was found.

School will be in session Wednesday, according to the sheriff's office.

The district is leading the investigation.

Another bomb threat at the middle school was received by the district late last week. Nothing was found in that instance as well.
