Woman Faces Felony Sex Charge, Abused Patient, Police Say

Town of Dickinson, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A Johnson City woman is facing felony sex charges after state police say she had inappropriate contact with a developmentally disabled man at a town of Dickinson group home.

New York State Police say Joyce D. Prince, 37, of Johnson City, had sexual contact in September with a man who was a resident of the Prospect 1 SOIRA group home in the Town of Dickinson. SORIA stands for State Operated Individualized Residential Alternative.

Prince is an employee of the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

Prince was arraigned in the Town of Dickinson Court and was released on her own recognizance. The investigation is continuing.
