Investigators Speak On Murder Arrest

(WBNG Binghamton) Investigators release more details about a murder investigation in Broome County.

Alan Outman, 22, is facing 2nd degree murder charges in the death of David Fillers, 21.

Fillers' body was found in Vestal Monday morning behind the Quality Inn.

In a news conference less than an hour ago, the Broome County Sheriff's Office says Fillers and Outman were classmates at Chenango Valley High School.

Investigators say both men somehow ended up at the Quality Inn early on Sunday morning.

Sheriff David Harder says sometime between 3:30 AM and 5:00 AM, was when Outman allegedly killed Fillers.

Authorities are not releasing any information about motive or how Fillers was killed.

Outman is from the town of Dickinson but was living in Johnson City.

He is now in the Broome County Jail.
