Taglianetti found guilty for killing former Chenango County Principal
Mayville, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The man accused of killing a former Chenango County principal in 2012 was convicted Friday in Chatauqua County Court. A jury found Anthony Taglianetti guilty of second-degree murder in the death of Keith Reed Jr. The jury deliberated for less than three hours before handing up the guilty verdict. Reed was found shot to death outside his home in September 2012 in Chatauqua County. Evidence of Reed's blood was found on the gun, which was found in Taglianetti's car. It's believed Taglianetti shot Reed over an alleged love affair with Taglianetti's estranged wife. Reed served as principal of the Sherburne-Earlville High School for four years before moving to western New York. Sentencing has been set for Feb. 2 and Taglianetti remains in jail without bail.
