Man flown to hospital after ATV crash

Town of Tompkins, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Delaware County Sheriff's Office responded July 29 to Dryden Road in the town of Tompkins for an ATV accident.

An unidentified male was driving a 2003 Yamaha ATV when he went off the road onto a trail in the woods, according to a news release.

The ATV rolled over and he was thrown off the vehicle.

He was taken to Albany Medical Center by a Life Net helicopter with life-threatening injuries.

On Monday evening, the man was reported by the hospital staff to be in serious but stable condition.

The Sheriff's Office says the man falsely said he was 18-year-old Antonio Ranacelli of Walton.

The crash is under investigation and charges are pending.
