Teens arrested for Endicott robbery

Endicott, NY (WBNG Binghamton) An Endicott teen is charged with felony robbery charges after he allegedly robbed a man in the Union Alley.

Michael Cooper, Jr., 18, of Endicott, and a 16-year-old male were involved in a conversation with the 23-year-old male victim on Thursday night.

Endicott police said the victim reported that Cooper forcibly stole a knife hanging around his neck. Cooper then threatened the victim with the knife. As the victim attempted to run away, he was tackled and punched in the head and face several times, but was not injured.

Endicott Police later found the two suspects and found the stolen knife on the 16-year-old.

Cooper was arraigned in Endicott Village Court and taken to the Broome County Jail without bail.

The 16-year-old was released on his own recognizance.

-One count, criminal possession of a weapon, fourth degree, class A misdemeanor
