Binghamton, N.Y. (WBNG Binghamton) The Broadway Theatre League will host The Addams Family on Sunday, October 13 at the Broome County Forum Theatre.

Preparations began for the musical comedy, as the crew moves props and equipment onto the stage.

The next few days will be spent setting up scenes and final rehearsals.

The beginning of the season isn't only beneficial for the performing arts community and fans of the theatre, but it also helps the local economy.

"There's over 45 cast and crew who will be here for the next five days, which equates to about 185 hotel rooms nights, which is a pretty big boost to our economy. But it trickles down to restaurants and retail stores and lumber yards and things like that," Anthony Capozzi, manager of the Broome County Forum Theatre, said.

There will be two performances of The Addams Family on Sunday; a 3 p.m. matinee, followed by an evening performance at 7:30 p.m.
