(WBNG Binghamton) The president's two-day bus tour through New York and Pennsylvania has one goal in mind: Make higher education more affordable.

President Barack Obama will venture to several college campuses in New York and Pennsylvania on Thursday and Friday. He plans to speak on education reform, and ways to keep student debt and costs down.

On Thursday, the president will unveil those proposals first in a speech at the State University at Buffalo. Obama will then make his way to Syracuse and speak at Henninger High School.

On Friday, he will participate in a town hall event at Binghamton University. Later that day, he'll speak at an event at Lackawanna College in Scranton, Pa.
