Town of Union, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Broome County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop early Monday morning, which led to a narcotics arrest.
The Broome County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle on East Main Street in Endwell around 2:30 a.m. for an equipment violation.
The driver of the vehicle, Tammy Carlson, 39, of Endicott, was found to have a suspended driver’s license.
Deputies searched the vehicle and found a glass smoking device used for smoking Methamphetamine, three empty bags with Methamphetamine residue, and four Oxicodone pills.
Deputies said Carlson did not have a prescription for the drug.
-Criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts, class A misdemeanors
-Aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor.
Carlson was taken into custody and released on appearance tickets to return to Union Court at a later date.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
