Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Construction is slated to start again Tuesday night on the Prospect Mountain project.
The New York State Department of Transportation says between 6 p.m. Tuesday and 7 a.m. Wednesday, Interstate 81 North-17 West between exits 3 and 4 will be reduced to one lane.
During this time frame, the DOT says the Route 7 South on-ramp to I-81N/17W will be closed.
Construction crews are preparing for the work on the Chenango Street Bridge.
Work is weather permitting.
