(WBNG Binghamton) Construction work will affect certain streets in Binghamton and the Town of Union, as well as State Route 17.
The following streets will be affected from Monday to Friday, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. each day:
- Prospect Street will have alternating lane closures between Karlada Drive and Front Street
- Chenango Street will have alternating lane closures between Moffatt Avenue and Sturges Street
- Old Front Street in the Town of Dickinson will experience restrictions between the Cul-De-Sac and the New York State Department of Transportation facility
Beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, State Route 17 West, between the Mygatt Street exit (72) and Route 17 over Mygatt Street, will be reduced to one lane.
This work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. Friday, weather permitting.
Also, beginning at 9 a.m. Monday, State Route 17 East, between the Airport Road exit (71) and the Front Street exit (72) will be reduced to one lane.
Work will be performed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily through May 7, weather permitting.
