(WBNG Binghamton) The New York State Department of Transportation on Tuesday announced that crews will be removing concrete barrier on State Route 17 westbound between exit 72 (Front Street) and exit 71 (Airport Road) in the City of Binghamton.
According to a news release:
This work will be performed beginning at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12.
Motorists will encounter alternating lane closures and periodic delays.
When this work is completed, the westbound direction of State Route 17 will be open to three lanes of traffic between exit 72 and exit 71. This work is expected to be completed by 3 p.m. on December 12, weather permitting.
