Two arrested after narcotics investigation

Bainbridge, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Two were arrested in Bainbridge after a search warrant turned up cash, drug paraphernalia and evidence of money transfers in their home.

Amber Chesebro, 33, and Manuel Thillet, 33 were taken into custody after the Chenango County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant at 386 Neff Hill Rd.

Deputies said the warrant stemmed from a lengthy narcotics investigation at the home.

When investigators entered the home around 5:40 p.m. Wednesday, they found a large amount of cash, drug paraphernalia, as well as financial documents reflecting large amounts of money transfers.

The two were charged with criminal nuisance in the first degree and criminal use of drug paraphernalia in the second degree.

They were taken to the Chenango County Jail. Chesebro was held on $2,500 cash bail and Thillet was held on $10,000 cash bail.

Deputies said the investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
