As the river waters begin to crest around the area, we get a good look at the flood's devastation from a bird's eye view.

In Broome county, downtown Binghamton is flooded around the area of South Washington street.
From here you can see water has moved in well past the Veterans Memorial arena.

As we turn around again, you can see at the confluence of the Chenango and Susquehanna rivers a new student housing project is washed away, along with it several businesses in the downtown area.

Some good news though, as we see the new flood wall at Lourdes hospital appears to have done its job, keeping the Susquehanna at bay.
