Woman Indicted For Fatal Crash That Killed 3

A Broome County Grand Jury indicted a woman who was the only one to survive a crash into the Chenango River that resulted in the deaths of 3 people.

On May 20, 2011 a Ford Explorer went off Interstate 88 west and into the Chenango River in the Town of Fenton.

The driver, Jaclyn Wesley, escaped and got to shore.

3 passengers died, including Wesley's aunt.

The body of Carri Michalski, 39, of Binghamton was not recovered until more than 2 weeks later.

The bodies of 25 year old Robert Moorehead of Port Crane and 45 year old Robert Marshall of Binghamton were recovered after the crash.

The Broome Sheriff's office said the group had been at a bar in Port Crane.

On September 27, a Broome County grand jury indicted 23 year old Jaclyn Wesley, 23, of Binghamton on 10 counts.
