Woman in custody after narcotics search warrant

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force arrested a woman after they searched her home.

On October 24, Angelina M. Brown, 24, was arrested at her home, located at 59 North St., Binghamton.

Brown was found to be in possession of 46 glassine bags of heroin, 3 knotted wraps of crack cocaine, a baggie of marijuana, a live marijuana plant and ecstasy pills, according to police.

Brown's five year old son lived at the home, with the narcotics accessible to the child.

The child was not injured and is staying with the family at this time.

Brown was taken to the Binghamton Police Department until her arraignment.

Charges:
-Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree (3)
-Criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree (1)
-Endangering the welfare of a child (1)
-Growing of the plant known as cannabis (1)
-Unlawful possession of marijuana (1)
