Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) NYSEG stadium was packed with support Saturday as the Wounded Warrior Amputee Softball team took on two local teams.

The Wounded Warriors are made up of amputee veterans. They travel all over the nation to compete as the athletes they were before their injuries.

Fans said they were impressed and inspired.

"He caught the ball, flipped the ball up, threw his glove off and grabbed it and threw it into second base all in one motion," Veteran Scott Gurtis said. "I just thought it was outstanding."

"It's really inspiring to see them," Nicole Osborne said. "Even though something horrific happened, they came back, they bounced back. Now they are out here playing with people from Broome County and I just think that's awesome."

This is the second time the team has visited Binghamton.
