Greg Catlin is Vice President of News, responsible for newsroom operations at both WBNG-TV in Binghamton and WTVH-TV in Syracuse.

He’s been in the radio and TV broadcasting business for more than 30 years!

Greg was promoted to Vice President in January 2008 after 26 years of experience at WBNG as a reporter, anchor and News Director.

He started at WBNG in 1982 as Elmira Bureau Chief. For more than 2 decades he reported on most of the big, local stories and traveled extensively on the job. He’s also anchored Action News This Morning, Action News at Noon, Action News Weekends, Action News at 5pm, 5:30pm, 6pm and 11pm.

In 2000, Greg was promoted to News Director, overseeing the entire News Department plus he continued to co-anchor Action News at 6pm.

Greg also hosts the annual Children’s Miracle Network seen on WBNG-TV.

Now, as Vice President of News for 2 television stations in 2 upstate cities, he’s busier than ever and he no longer anchors a newscast on a regular basis.

But, as he always says, “My life is perfect”.
