Jessica Light is a small-town North Country girl from Peru, NY, an upstate town outside of Plattsburgh in the middle of the Adirondacks.

She graduated this May 2007 from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor in Broadcast Journalism.

This past spring she interned at WPTZ, a Hearst-Argyle station in Plattsburgh.

Since a little girl, Jessica has had big dreams of being a news anchor and she’s excited to launch her career here at WBNG-TV Action News.
