Samantha is a life-long weather enthusiast hailing from Locust Valley on Long Island, New York. Living along the coast has provided endless opportunities to follow the effects of the ocean on everyday weather which is one of her passions.

Other interests include running, having participated in 8 marathons to date, biking, and swimming. She is also an animal lover, her favorite being her Yorkshire Terrier, Magee.

Samantha has interned at both News 12 Long Island and Capital News 9 in Albany. She has a Communications degree from the University of Scranton and a Broadcast Meteorology degree from the University at Albany. Thrilled with the opportunity to be Weekend Meteorologist and a Weekday Reporter at Action News 12, she is looking forward to forecasting for the region.
