WBNG-TV in Binghamton, New York (CBS) has an opening for a News Producer/Multi-Media Journalist.

The dominant TV station seeks qualified candidates who have a nose for news, not features.

Principal duties include producing and writing one to two, half-hour newscasts and handling several tasks. Deliver a timely, accurate, and interesting program.

Producer will also write, post and produce web content. Must have the ability to write clearly and accurately, recognize the value of local news, and work as part of a team. Some editing may also be required.

1 year experience preferred but not necessary if you have the right ability.

Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
