Established in 1973 and featuring a Robert Tallman designed layout, Willowcreek Golf Club is located in the picturesque valley of New York’s Southern Tier region. It is the area’s only family owned golf course, and offers 27 holes of challenging tree-lined golf (the Pines, BitterCreek, and the Willows) as well as extensive practice facilities sure to keep your game sharp. You can let it rip on the 300+ yard driving range, use the two practice holes to work on your short game, and hone your putting stroke on the two-tiered putting green.

The Pines is our front-9 and is a par-36. Hole 1 provides your best opportunity for an eagle as a well struck drive can put you in position to reach the green in two. The Pines also features a driveable par-4 with the third hole, but think twice about going for it because the Chemung River awaits any errant drive missed to the right. At a robust and winding 550 yards (from the white tees), many consider hole 6 to be Willowcreek’s most challenging hole, and is arguably the most difficult par-5 in the area. Hole 9 brings you back toward the clubhouse and, like so many other holes at Willowcreek, requires a precisely placed tee shot for an open approach to the green.

The Bittercreek 9 is a par-36 and offers what is considered by many to be Willowcreek’s toughest test. Playing slightly longer than the Pines, its length is not what troubles most golfers. Bittercreek, as is fitting to its name, features four holes that wind golfers back and forth across its creek. While very playable for most skill levels, all golfers agree that easy pars are hard to come by.

The Willows 9 presents a challenge for all skill levels and features our newly added junior tees providing aspiring young golfers a more enjoyable experience. Often considered the easiest nine at Willowcreek, the Willows is anything but a walk in the park. Hole 1 is the tightest par-5 on the course and two other holes are the lengthiest par-4s Willowcreek has to offer. Be sure to save some energy for the 9th hole finale, a lengthy par-4 that requires an approach shot over a pond. Don’t worry though, a drop area is provided for those not up to the challenge!
Willowcreek is open to the public and offers season passes, and junior golfers are welcomed to try our newly added junior tees.

A variety of golf events throughout the season are hosted at Willowcreek including weekly leagues, annual tournaments for every skill level, and the First Tee program. If you’re looking to reserve a tee time, set up a tournament or schedule a lesson, call the pro shop and the friendly and professional staff will handle all your needs.
