ALS, or as it's more commonly known Lou Gehrig's disease, impacts tens of thousand of Americans.
A walk to bring more attention to the disease is headed to our area this weekend.
Ken Cook and Emily Arbes spoke with Action News about the details of the walk.
The walk is taking place August 9 at Otsiningo Park in the Town of Dickinson.
Registration will begin at 10a.m. and the walk kicks off at 11a.m..
There will be entertainment, food and fun provided for all.
A special tribute ceremony honoring those living with ALS will take place at 10:40a.m..
