Afton Driving Park Spook Horse Show Set for Oct. 6

(WBNG Binghamton) The Afton Driving Park Spook Horse Show is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6, beginning at 8:30 a.m.

According to a news release:

The first full year of Afton Driving Park Fun Horse Show will end with a day of games at the Afton Fair grounds.  For extra fun come in a costume you can ride in all day.  Classes for leadline, walk/trot 10 & under, walk/trot 11-17, Walk/trot Adult, Junior w/t/c, Adult w/t/c, Miniature in hand Junior, Miniature Adult, Driving Junior and Driving Adult.  Entrants may ride English or Western for the games.  Junior riders are 17 and under and must wear hard hats when mounted or driving. 

After the costume class try the games classes: Ride-a-Buck Bareback, Pumpkin and Spoon, Cracker and Whistle, Speedball, Bloody Champagne, Catalogue Race, Witches Hat game, Candy Clover Leaf and the Spooky Keyhole Race.  Classes are free for lead line, $3 for juniors and $4 for adults.  The entry form/class list can be found at theaftonfair.com. 

Great food will be available at the Fair Board’s Cook Shack.  Join us at the Afton Fair Grounds for a day of fun and games.
