Annual Door Décor Wreath Festival and Silent Auction opens its doors on December 1

(WBNG Binghamton) Three local charities and several creative “wreath-makers” will benefit when the 4th  Annual Door Décor Wreath Festival & Silent Auction opens its doors on Sunday, December 1st.

According to a news release:

This event, held annually on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, is fast-paced, fun and full of goodwill. 100% of the money generated goes directly to local charities; Mom’s House, CHOW and the Daughters of Columbus Scholarship Fund.

Donations for the event come from the community and include wreaths decorated in any style or theme, gift certificates, gift baskets and monetary donations.

This year, each wreath will be judged for creativity and execution by area designers.  Winners will receive donated gift prizes.

Local organizations, art students and retailers are invited to submit as soon as possible,

This is the 4th year of the event which has raised nearly $9,000.

The Door Décor Wreath Festival & Silent Auction will take place Sunday, December 1st from 1:00pm until 4:00pm, at the Sons of Italy Hall, 126 Odell Avenue, Endicott NY.
