Binghamton (WBNG Binghamton) The 11th Annual Jim Mudcat Grant Golf Tournament is swinging off in a few weeks, all-stars are teeing off to help raise money for local organizations.

The 11th annual Jim "Mudcat" Grant All-Star Golf Tournament swings into gear August 30.

The 2012 Special Guests are Members of The Black Aces (the 13 African-American major league baseball pitchers who won 20 or more games in a single season) including Vida Blue, Al Downing, Jim "Mudcat" Grant, Fergie Jenkins, Mike Norris, J.R. Richard

Money raised from the tournament benefits four local organizations: The Urban League, Boys and Girls Clubs of Binghamton, CHOW, and Catholic Charities.

The Broome County Urban League helps African Americans, minorities, and the poor save money and empower them.

They help adults become self-sufficient through good jobs, home ownership, entrepreneurship and wealth accumulation.
