Around the Tiers: Ukrainian Days festival

(WBNG Binghamton) The Ukrainian Days Festival at St. John's Ukrainian Orthodox Church at 1 St. John's Parkway in Johnson City. Pam Scannell came by to tell us more.

The event begins Saturday at 1 p.m.

Below is a schedule of events:

Saturday, July 20th, 1 pm - 8 pm
1:30 pm Church tour
3 pm St. John's Ukrainian Choir and Folk Dancers
4 pm-6pm Bill Flynn and Cool 100 live broadcast
4:30-8pm Nyschot's Groove - live band
6-7pm Live Pysanky(egg decorating) demonstration

Sunday, July 21st, 11 am - 6 pm
11am-2pm Bill Flynn and Cool 100 live broadcast
1-3:30pm Live Pysanky(egg decorating) demonstration
1:30 pm Church tour
2pm-6pm Nyschot's Groove - live band

The festival features Ukrainian food and pastries - Holubtsi, pirohi, kolbasa, halushky, kolachky, nut rolls and much more

Live entertainment, dancing, pysanky(egg decorating) demonstrations and church tours daily.

Large tent, grilled foods and children's games.

Admission is free.
