(WBNG Binghamton) Preparations are underway for an upcoming Field, Hearth and Home Show in Tioga County. So how can you get involved? Brian Eldridge came by to explain.

Both the Tioga County United Way and the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce released the following statement:

"The Tioga United Way and the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce are partnering for the third year promoting a celebration of all that makes Tioga County, Tioga County. The Field, Hearth and Home Show will be held on March 15th at the Owego Treadway Inn and Conference Center.

Please note, this year we are doing a one-day show, with longer hours. We have found that Sunday attendance the past two years was about 1/10th of those who attended on Saturday. With our new format, we are extending show hours to 9 PM on Saturday, with appetizers and other offerings from approximately 6-9 PM.

This will continue to be a high-quality expo that is open to the public. Admission is only $5.00 per person, and children under 12 are free. Booths will feature sporting and recreational activities; including hunting, fishing, taxidermy, kayaking, camping, sportsmen's clubs, wildlife art, and wood carving, as they pertain to our rural Tioga lifestyle. Other activities and hobbies will also be represented including soap making, quilting, cooking, home decorating crafts, hand-made jewelry, and energy efficient home improvements. Service organizations will be on hand to display how to participate in their respective groups, and many activities that the entire family can enjoy.

We are seeking vendors to show their products and offer them for sale to attendees. This is a low-cost opportunity to advertise your products and business and increase your visibility in Tioga County. Enclosed is a registration form with pricing information and show hours.

If you are interested in participating, please return the enclosed form with your payment to ensure your registration. You can also register on-line by going to the Tioga United Way website and selecting the "On-line Registration" button under the Field, Hearth & Home logo. Payment can be made securely through Paypal. Since tables are filled on a "first-come, first-serve" basis, try to get your form in as soon as possible. If we cannot accommodate your choice, we will call you and see what other alternatives are available.

For more information, please contact the Tioga United Way (607-687-4028), or Tioga County Chamber of Commerce (607-687-2020)."
