Around the Tiers: What to watch for at Kopernik Observatory

Vestal, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Eclipses, meteor showers conjunctions, all of which are upcoming astronomical events. Roy Williams from the Kopernik Observatory stopped by to explain how to experience them.

You can catch two lunar eclipses, on April 15 and Oct. 8, as well as a partial solar eclipse on Oct. 23 at the Kopernik Observatory.

There will also be possible meteor storms to observe on May 24., Oct. 21 and Nov. 17.

You can catch conjunctions of the Moon and Mars on June 7, as well as Venus and Jupiter on Aug. 18.

There will also be spring pegasus classes offered for grades one through eight.
