(WBNG Binghamton) Organizers of the annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner at Binghamton High School are making preparations to expand the event by establishing a first-ever shuttle bus service (courtesy of First Student) to enable those with transportation concerns to attend the popular holiday dinner.
According to a news release:
Marking its 18th consecutive year, the all-volunteer dinner is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, November 22, at the Binghamton High School.
“We are thrilled that FIRST STUDENT has generously donated their buses and that their professional driver employees are spending a part of their holiday to assist those with transportation concerns so they may celebrate Thanksgiving at Binghamton High School” said Roxie Oberg, BHS Principal.
