Benefit to be held in memory of Michael “Jingles” Rubino

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) A fundraiser will help the family of Michael “Jingles” Rubino.

Jingles died in February at the age of 81. Many remember him as the man who often danced during the 7th inning stretch of Binghamton Mets games and was never afraid to let an umpire or coach know if he thought they made a bad call.

On Saturday March 22, a benefit to help offset some of the costs from his funeral and other expenses will be held at American Legion Post 80 located at 76 Main Street in Binghamton. Tickets are seven dollars for admission and dinner. The event will run from 3:00 p.m.-7:30 p.m.

Alll of the proceeds will go toward helping the Rubino family.
