Binghamton Zoo’s Easter EGGstravaganza

April 15, 2011 Updated Apr 15, 2011 at 12:40 PM EDT

Binghamton, NY (WBNG Binghamton) Mark your calendars for the Binghamton Zoo’s Easter EGGstravaganza event on Saturday, April 23th and Sunday, April 24th from 12:00pm-3:00pm.

The Easter Bunny hopped in to hide eggs around our zoo, in hopes that children of all ages would come out to find them!

Upon arrival, kids will pick up their Easter bag, and head into the zoo and try to locate multi colored eggs hidden in baskets located throughout the zoo.

After finding the eggs, kids will return to the Education Center and be able to exchange them for candy and prizes.

For young visitors under the age of 4, there will be a special egg hunt and craft for them to enjoy.

In addition to the egg hunt there will be crafts, games, and face painting.

The entire zoo will be open during 10:00am-4:00pm on Saturday and 12:00pm-4:00pm on Sunday, so you will be able to visit all of your favorite Binghamton Zoo animals.

Even "Oreo", our own Easter Bunny will be on hand for kids to greet, and have their picture taken.

Admission for this event is $4.00 for members and $5.00 for non members, and includes admission to the Zoo.
