Binghamton man to compete in 'Sinatra Idol' contest in New Jersey

(WBNG Binghamton) Local singer Billy Nanni will compete in the 7th annual Sinatra Idol Contest 2013 at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13 in Sinatra Park, located on Sinatra Drive between 4th and 5th Street in Hoboken, New Jersey.

According to a news release:

There are 15 total contestants competing to be the Sinatra Idol. Each contestant had to e-mail their home address, phone number, what they do for a living, a short statement about how they got started singing Sinatra tunes and what his music means to them, as well as a video of them singing. These contestants were selected from a pool of thousands of applicants.

Winners get to perform in Sinatra’s Annual Birthday Bash in December. The panel of judges includes the beloved Manzo Brothers, Chris and Albie from Real Housewives of New Jersey, award winning singer/PBS Host Cristina Fontanelli and Jimmy Farina, Hoboken City Clerk.
